Terms, Conditions and Processes
NetDefender placement is contingent upon a 12 month commitment to the program. Work begins upon our receipt of (1) quarterly payment and a signed agreement. Time from commitment, receipt of the information needed to configure your equipment to actual installation is 10 days, maximum. Upon completion of the first year of service you can elect to re-subscribe for another year at a 30% discounted monthly rate or can continue at the contract rate on a month-to-month basis thereafter or, of course, terminate the service entirely.
While some effects of our SPAMGuard SPAM filtering will be seen immediately, SPAMGuard requires 48 to 72 hours to reach full efficiency. The SPAMGuard service will be activated within 24 hours of your acknowledgment of acceptance of NetDefender enrollment.
All equipment will be delivered configured and ready to install. We recommend that you appoint a primary and secondary contact for us within your organization. Our engineers will guide whomever you appoint through the initial implementation process. While a familiarity with basic networking is helpful, it is not absolutely necessary because our engineers will provide step-by-step instructions when a pair of onsite hands is needed. Adjustments to the configurations, when and if needed, will be made online by our engineers. You will be provided a 24 hour support hotline to use if you wish to reach us directly.
Should your needs change while under NetDefender protection, appropriate equipment will be provided which will cause a change in the monthly service fee depending solely on the level of replacement. Your account representative will provide whatever information you need before making such decisions.
Cancellation of the service during the initial 12 month period can be done by payment of 15% of the value of the remaining contract and return in good condition of all provided equipment and packaging. PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP ALL PACKAGING FOR EQUIPMENT PROVIDED. IN THE EVENT OF THE NEED TO RETURN A PIECE DUE TO HARDWARE FAILURE OR UPGRADE, THAT PACKAGING IS THE SAFEST MEANS BY WHICH TO SHIP AND IS REQUIRED WHEN SHIPPING THIS EQUIPMENT.
